Notes |
- Emil worked for a long time for the Catholic Churches in parishes in New Jersey and California. He graduated from Manhatten College and later received a Masters Degree in Applied theology During WWII, he was on an air crew of a bomber and served in the pacific theater. He came home on leave to New York on one occasion when his family was living in California. He stayed with his Uncle Frank> Frank put a curfew on him of 10PM. Emil had a girl friend out on Long Island at the time and this kind of tough (funny now). She was a nurse and later commissioned in the Navy. She later sent him a dear John letter when he was overseas.
