        Deceased Name: THOMAS P. WALSH, 82 WAS QUINCY VOCATIONAL TEACHER
        A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of Victory Church in the Centerville section of Barnstable for Thomas P. Walsh, a vocational teacher and coordinator in the metals department of Quincy High School and Quincy Vocational School.

        Mr. Walsh, 82, was an educator from 1942 until his retirement in 1979. He died Thursday in his home in Barnstable.

        Born in Boston, he graduated from Hyde Park High School and later from Boston College in 1933. He taught machine shop in the US war training program in the former Mechanic Arts High School in Boston from 1941 to 1943.

        He was a member of the Falmouth Country Club. He also belonged to Boston College organizations College Alumni Association, Golden Eagles Club and Club of Cape Cod.

        He leaves his wife, Rosemary (Forrester); two sons, Hugh T. of Melrose and Thomas R. of Ashland; and four grandchildren.

        Burial will be in Mount Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury.
